About your Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Practitioner

Originally from London England, your BCST practitioner has warmly called Canada her home for more than 5 years now.
She travels frequently between Vancouver BC and Calgary AB to treat her regular Clients, each holding a place in her heart.
With an interest in people's health and well-being, she qualified with a BSc (Hons) Biology degree from one of the best universities in the UK, specialising in Human Anatomy, Physiology and the Brain.  She then excelled in Business School, completing postgraduate studies in Business Management and Marketing.  Leading to a colourful life journey in the corporate world, she became a globally sought-after Strategic Marketing Consultant.

With an ever-increasing desire to help others, she decided to completely re-direct her life path.  Following completion of a 2-year intensive internationally-recognised training program, she gained her third qualification and became a Registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist.  She passionately believes it's not a coincidence that four of the six letters in Health are HEAL, and feels Craniosacral Therapy is incredibly effective in treating everything from physical and emotional pain – to migraines, asthma, sleep, fertility issues and so much more – as it can really get to the root of a problem through healing from the inside out.

What prompted this?
Following a serious horse-riding accident at the age of 14, she was left suffering with terrible lower back ache and knee pain.  Despite seeing numerous doctors, physiotherapists, chiropractors, and everything in between, she was unable to gain any relief from the pain and was told it was early onset arthritis.  At the age of 20, she first heard about Craniosacral Therapy, sought out a local therapist in England, and was shocked to find that just one treatment session completely relieved her pain!  The therapist told her that her pelvis was twisted from the accident, and with his gentle Craniosacral touch, her body was given the encouragement it needed to adjust itself.  Although this is not a typical benchmark reaction for Craniosacral Therapy treatments in everybody, being an active adrenaline junkie, she often referred to her Craniosacral Therapist as a "Magician" for his magic touch in treating her numerous injuries.

With a scientific "why" mind and passionate curiosity, Neshat decided to learn this "magic" for herself.  After extensive research (as is her way), she decided to pursue a new life path in her quest to help others heal, and successfully trained to become a Registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist.  She is passionate about continuing to stay cutting edge in the field of BCST, and continues to expand her skill set with extensive Postgraduate qualifications in specialist subjects such as the treatment of mothers and babies, the brain, trauma, Ayurveda, Japanese Light Therapy, etc., as well as having a special interest in brain health and brain injuries.  She also takes time out from her practice and volunteers her time where she can to assist and support the training of new BCST students.  She enjoys meeting people from all walks of life, has an adventurous spirit, and brings a creative flair to everything she does.
