A systematic review in 2012 found that "pain and quality of life/general well-being can be improved by the use of craniosacral therapy".

Lower back pain
A Polish study (2014) and a Spanish study (2016) concluded that “Craniosacral therapy reduces the resting tension of the multifidus muscle in patients with non-specific lumbosacral pain” and “Ten sessions of craniosacral therapy resulted in a statistically greater improvement in pain intensity, hemoglobin oxygen saturation, systolic blood pressure, serum potassium, and magnesium level than did 10 sessions of classic massage in patients with low back pain.”
